Touch
Statistics say we take in most information through sight followed by hearing. I think that the statistics must be too narrow in their definition of what qualifies as information. It seems to me all of the senses are equally important, but I hold touch in special regard. I think touch is as important as meat and drink.
The possibilities for what can be communicated through touch seem boundless. Hatred, love, domination, submission, above all, passion. I have spent entire afternoons exploring bodies with touch alone, reaching a calm intimacy.
And it is the one thing I am completely without.
